NOTE: This exercise is meant to shed light on how our own unintentional biases shape how we view others.

Give the following instructions to the students: “We will watch a two and a half minute video clip. We will have a discussion immediately following the video.”

Discussion Questions
  • What stood out about the video?

  • How might we form these stereotypes about people from other race/ethnicities?

  • What impact may these stereotypes have on students in our school?

  • What can we as a Calling All Colors School Group do to combat these stereotypes in our school?
