Calling All Colors fosters inclusive school communities through a year-long program that creates safe spaces to talk about race and tools for increasing inclusion in middle and high schools. We are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to assist in facilitating a small group dialogue at the conferences. Volunteer at one or more of the conferences listed below!
Support the Migrant Population
The Migrant Mentoring Program matches community volunteers with a migrant child to meet weekly for duration of the family’s seasonal residence. The program improves academic achievement, develops cross-cultural connections, and increases access to the community for the children and their families. This program requires a yearly commitment to meet with mentees once a week. Recruitment for mentors begins in the early spring each year.
Facilitating Dialogues & Presenting
The Calling All Colors program needs several volunteer facilitators to lead small student groups through a provided dialogue/activity at each of its four conferences per year. Training is provided prior to conference dates.
