The Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance continues to work closely with racial justice organizations throughout Ottawa, Muskegon and Kent Counties, in an effort to disseminate programs, share resources and partner on projects. Latin Americans United for Progress, Core City, and The Alliance for Cultural and Ethnic Harmony assisted in the development and implementation of the Summit on Racism.
With the invitation for all to participate, LEDA creates “healing partnerships” to dismantle racism. Community partnerships have formed with local churches, school systems, social service agencies and the following racial justice advocacy groups:
