INSTITUTE FOR RACIAL HEALING
February 5- March 25, 2008
The Holland Chamber of Commerce and The Lakeshore Ethnic Diversity Alliance will again jointly offer The Institute for Healing Racism this fall. The Institute is a dialogue designed to eliminate and heal the disease of racism. Participants learn the history or racism, confront the reality of racism today, and identify action steps to combat racism in the Holland area.
One participant shared the impact the Institute had on him: “Through the reviewing of history, the discussion of current events in modern media, along with the safe and encouraging atmosphere promoting and welcoming all to participate and share, the Institute helped me to gain a new and deeper perspective on ethnic diversity and racism. For further information, contact Patricia Strachan, Holland Area Chamber of Commerce, 616-392-2389.
