The Literacy Center of West Michigan is seeking an English as a Second Language Instructor and Adult Basic Education Instructor. Responsibilities include providing instruction and developing curriculum for adults with diverse backgrounds and barriers. The instruction and curriculum design for ESL and/or ABE basic skills training must utilize research-based best practices that effectively prepare individuals to transition to higher education or employment.
Master's degree in Education or TESOL, relevant experience in teaching ESL/ABE to adults and curriculum development experience required. Strong analytical, organizational, computer skills are essential.  Being a team player must be a high priority. Salaried at $32,000-$34,000, medical insurance, paid vacation, paid sick leave, 403(b).
